The Mobile Meme Machine

March 15, 2013 — 2 Comments

Here’s a little app I just ran across, put together by the good people over at House Industries. It’s called Photolettering. Not only have they made it easy to add text to an image, they’ve also made it look good. I’m so excited to start using this.

The good people over at B-Reel have done it again. They’ve created an exquisitely beautiful site, introducing the world to Google Glass. Check it out. If you want the chance to be a Google Glass beta texter, use hashtag #ifihadglass and tweet what you’d do with it.

Scriptogr.am

Scriptogr.am, an interesting new tool for writers who blog. It takes the hassel out of web publishing. Learn more about it here.

Hello everyone, I’ve been traveling abroad for the past month, and sadly too busy to post. My apologies. I’m back and thought it fitting to start off with a post about an airline. Enjoy.

Anna Kövecses, in colaboration with Boulder, Colorado based Victors and Spoils put together this theoretical redesign for struggling American Airlines. It’s main focus is to convey an aura of safety. An approach that seems so intuitive, yet I’ve never seen it done before. Read more about the project, and the controversial agency that commissioned the work on fastcodesigns.com.

The guys over at B-Reel are constantly coming up with some crazy awesome shit. Their latest project, a collaboration with Google Chrome and the Science Museum, London is just so damn genius. It’s a series of 5 Chrome experiments that are open to everyone online, but also live in the Science Museum, London. Go check it out for yourself at chromeweblab.com

iPhone Scuba Suit

Want to turn your iPhone into an underwater camera? For a mere $60, you can do just that. The guys over at photojojo, are selling this little waterproof case that allows you to submerge your phone in water while still being able to use the touch screen functionality. Pretty great.

The guys over at Wander Blog decided to start this postcard project that asked illustrators to imagine a postcard from everywhere and nowhere at once. Here are a few of my favorites. Go check out their site to see more and download the art as an iPhone or iPad background.
