Nerdy shit.

For those of us ladies with a smart phone, battery life has at one point or another been an issue. Especially for those of us that travel. Now there’s a fashionable, on-the-go solution. No more sitting by an outlet in the airport or asking a friend for their car charger only to find out it isn’t compatible. Everpurse is a stylish new clutch that comes with a charging system built in. This ingenious product started out as a Kickstarter project that was quickly funded into reality. Watch and see for yourself.

For those of you dudes out there who are adverse to caring around a purse, there are some more manly products with similar capabilities. Mashable has a great article featuring some of them.

Appseed is an app that lets you turn your sketches into a working prototype on your phone. Such a brilliant Kickstarter project! I hope it actually comes to fruition.

LA – Foodie Friendly

September 17, 2013 — Leave a comment

I’m an adventuresome eater and, as such, constantly on the lookout for new and interesting food. LA is new to me and at times, an overwhelming, cornucopia of restaurant options. Thankfully a friend turned me onto this beautifully curated site, The Delicious Life, by Sarah J Gim. She is also the brains behind TasteSpotting, another wonderful foodie website. Enjoy.

Here’s a great way to send handwritten cards without all of the hassel of stamps and post office lines. Felt. Brilliant!

Vine is the six second video app owned by Twitter. It is quickly becoming an internet craze, with users posting all kinds of quirky shorts. This is by far the best one I’ve seen. By Jackson Holland.

The Mobile Meme Machine

Here’s a little app I just ran across, put together by the good people over at House Industries. It’s called Photolettering. Not only have they made it easy to add text to an image, they’ve also made it look good. I’m so excited to start using this.

The good people over at B-Reel have done it again. They’ve created an exquisitely beautiful site, introducing the world to Google Glass. Check it out. If you want the chance to be a Google Glass beta texter, use hashtag #ifihadglass and tweet what you’d do with it.
