Classic Book Covers Redesigned – Part 1

March 29, 2012 — 5 Comments

I’ve been reading, or rereading a bunch of the classics lately. In doing so, I stumbled across these beautifully illustrated book covers by Mikey Burton. They’re a box set that he designed as part of his theses at Kent State. As far as I can tell, the set “Rest, Relax, Read” is not available for purchase. Bummer! You can however purchase the cover art on a t-shirt, from the guys over at Out of Print. You can also read a little more about Mikey in the interview that FaceoutBooks did with him.

Love em. Been a long time since I’ve read any of those. I should try picking up a book again someday… I need an iPad.

Brilliant! I wish these were for sale. I’d have a couple orders for gifts, and one of each for the shelf. Thanks for this, it made me smile ear to ear.
