This has been all over the interwebs lately, and rightfully so. It’s just so damn cool. Lego’s latest campaign, “Imagine”, comes from Hamburg advertising agency Jung von Matt.
*It should be noted that there is some controversy as to wether or not this was an original idea or simply ripped off from an internet search. Regardless, it’s still pretty amazing.

Interesting how minimalism is being applied on such a grand scale these days, especially with pop culture references. With these examples, I could identify all the familiar characters (some are from cartoons I haven’t seen before) without using too much imagination. Makes me consider how simplistic most designs are for cartoon characters and superheroes, with only two or three colours at most per costume or outfit. Not to mention how iconic they are.
