Google Glass

February 20, 2013 — 2 Comments

The good people over at B-Reel have done it again. They’ve created an exquisitely beautiful site, introducing the world to Google Glass. Check it out. If you want the chance to be a Google Glass beta texter, use hashtag #ifihadglass and tweet what you’d do with it.

Hand Drawn Type With a Twist

February 12, 2013 — 3 Comments

I guess this is a theme today – daily illustration projects.

Daily Dishonesty is a blog by New York designer Lauren Hom. She puts her own spin on hand drawn type by illustrating little white lies. Enjoy.

Windows of New York

Windows of New York is a project by graphic designer José Guizar. Such a simple idea and so beautifully executed. Check out José’s other work as well. I’m especially a fan of his Lucha Libre beer.

I’m not afraid to admit it, Twitter isn’t my favorite form of social media. In fact, I’d say it ranks around 8 or 9 for me. However, there are days when things like this come along and I just can’t help but love it.

Public Signage

December 12, 2012 — 4 Comments

This must have been some copywriter’s dream job – by the guys over at Partners+Napier.

While I’m not saying that I’d ever steal public signage, I’d like to have one of these in my home.

Hey Colorado residents, tomorrow’s the day. Vote yes on 64.

In light of the impending election, I thought it would be fitting to dig up this purely hypothetical branding project, done by the guys over at Heads of State. It was done back in 2009 and published by PRINT magazine in a series challenging four design firms to define what packaging for legal marijuana cigarettes would look like.
